About King

At two years old, King has matured into a discerning and grounded protector that showcases everything the Dutch Shepherd is valued for, an exceptional and less common working breed known for intelligence, adaptability, and a naturally steady disposition. He is watchful and appropriately reserved with strangers without ever tipping into reactivity, and he forms a strong, trusting bond with the people he considers his own. His training was built the way we insist on across our program, with a thorough obedience and socialization foundation established first and protection work layered on top, so his instincts remain controlled, reliable, and answerable to his handler. King is composed and confident at home, alert and capable in the moments that matter, and carries a calm, self-assured presence that puts a household at ease. He is well suited to an owner who appreciates a discerning, capable protector with a grounded temperament and a rare, standout pedigree.

King’s Training

King has been developed through the same structured program behind every Guardian Protection Dog, built on three pillars completed in a deliberate order. He began with a deep obedience foundation, learning to respond reliably on and off leash, through distraction and in real-world environments rather than only in a quiet training yard. Alongside that, he was thoroughly socialized to the everyday world a family moves through: children, guests, other animals, vehicles, and busy public spaces, so he reads ordinary activity as ordinary and stays composed. Only once that groundwork was solid did protection work begin, layered on top so his protective response is always controlled, commanded, and reliable rather than instinctive or unpredictable. The result is a dog whose training holds up under genuine, real-world conditions, not just in a demonstration.

Is King Right for You?

The best placements happen when a dog and a household genuinely match, which is why we start every conversation by learning about your life rather than simply completing a sale. King suits an owner or family looking for a devoted companion that doubles as a serious, dependable layer of protection, and he does especially well with people who want a dog that is truly part of daily life. If you have children, other pets, a particular routine, or specific security concerns, those details help us confirm whether King is the right fit or whether another of our dogs would suit you better. We would rather have an honest conversation up front than place a dog where he is not the right match, because a placement that works for years matters far more to us than a quick one.

Life With King

In daily life, King is composed, grounded, and quietly confident, the hallmark temperament of a well-bred Dutch Shepherd. He is discerning with strangers without being reactive, deeply loyal to his own people, and content to settle once his needs for activity and engagement are met. He carries a calm, self-assured presence that puts a household at ease while remaining alert to anything out of place. King is an excellent fit for an owner who appreciates an intelligent, even-tempered protector with a rare and standout pedigree.

What’s Included With King

Every dog we place is fully outfitted and supported from day one. When King comes home, he arrives with a complete equipment package, a health warranty, and our lifetime commitment to your success as a team, so nothing is left for you to piece together on your own.

Equipment package: harness, Herm Sprenger prong collar, leash, e-collar, tugs, ball on a string, and a carrying case, everything you need to continue his training and daily handling from the moment he arrives.

Health warranty: King is vet-certified at delivery and backed by a two-year warranty against congenital and hereditary defects, so you can welcome him into your home with complete confidence in his health and soundness.

Lifetime training support: your relationship with us does not end at delivery. Every placement includes lifetime support of his training, so as questions come up over the months and years ahead, our team remains a call away to help you and King stay sharp, connected, and working well together.

The Guardian Difference

When you choose King, you are not simply buying a trained dog, you are stepping into a partnership that begins the day he arrives. Every Guardian Protection Dog is personally hand-delivered, and King is no exception. We bring him to your home ourselves and stay to complete transfer training in person, working directly with you so the trust, communication, and command structure he built with our trainers over months transfers completely and cleanly to you.

That first in-home session is where King becomes your dog rather than ours. We walk you through handling, daily routine, and the commands he already knows, and we make sure you feel genuinely confident before we leave, not left to figure it out on your own. From there, our lifetime training support means we remain part of your corner for as long as you own him. It is the difference between being handed a dog and being set up to succeed with one.
