As stated earlier, once you purchase a dog from us you become part of the family. We stay in touch with most of our clients and help them work through anything that comes up. We ask every client to “fail fast” because we do not want anyone suffering in silence. If there is an issue, a question, or even a moment of uncertainty, we want to hear from you immediately so we can guide you through it.
When it comes to testimonials, we keep the process just as personal. After delivery, we check in at set intervals to make sure everything is going smoothly, and those conversations often evolve naturally into the stories you see on our site. Some clients prefer a quick feedback form, others send a text or a video update, and many simply share their experience during routine follow ups. The result is a collection of genuine, unfiltered reflections from real families, honest accounts of what it feels like to live with a Guardian dog.
Trust and Transparency
We understand that a protection dog is a significant investment, both financially and emotionally, and that trusting a training program you haven’t personally experienced yet requires some leap of faith. Genuine, specific testimonials from real clients are one of the best tools we have to close that gap honestly, which is why we’d rather feature a smaller number of detailed, credible accounts than a long list of generic five star quotes with no context behind them.
What to Look for in a Testimonial
Not all testimonials are equally useful when you’re trying to make a real decision. Vague praise like ‘great experience, highly recommend’ tells you very little. What’s actually useful is specific detail: how the dog behaves in a particular family situation, what the delivery and transfer training day was actually like, how the dog has held up months or years later, and whether the client’s expectations matched reality once the dog was living in their home. We aim to feature testimonials with that level of specificity, because that’s the kind of information we’d want if we were the ones making this decision.
