Purchasing a fully trained protection dog is one of the most meaningful investments you can make for your family's safety. We have designed our process from the ground up to be thorough, personal, and low-pressure. Every client is different, and every dog we place is chosen specifically for the family receiving them. Below is an honest walkthrough of what to expect from your first conversation with us to the moment your dog is settled in your home.

The typical timeline from first contact to dog in your home is 1 to 3 months. This varies depending on availability and how specific your requirements are, but we will always keep you informed at every stage.

The Consultation

Once you make contact, we will schedule a detailed consultation at a time that works for you. This is not a sales call. It is a thorough interview designed to help us understand your situation fully. We ask about your lifestyle, your family setup, any children or other animals in the home, your travel habits, your work schedule, whether you face any specific or immediate security concerns, and anything else that paints a clear picture of your day-to-day life. The more honestly you share, the better we can match you.

Dog Matching

Based on everything we learn in the consultation, we identify the dog from our program that is the best fit for you. We do not let clients simply browse and pick. Our matching process is deliberate and grounded in years of experience. The right dog for your neighbor may be entirely wrong for your household. We take that seriously. We will walk you through our recommendation and explain exactly why that dog suits your situation.

Video Review and Q&A

Before any commitment is made, we will share video footage of your matched dog in training, in the home environment, and in real-world scenarios. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and, where possible, arrange a visit to see the dog in person at our facility in Arizona. We want you to feel completely confident in your decision.

Securing Your Dog

Once you are ready to move forward, a 50% deposit is required to formally claim your dog and remove them from availability. This secures your place in our program and allows us to begin tailoring the final stages of preparation specifically for your family. The remaining balance is due at time of delivery. We will walk you through all paperwork at this stage and begin preparing you with guidance on what to expect and how to get your home ready before we arrive.

Personal Delivery and Onboarding

We do not ship our dogs. We personally deliver every protection dog we sell and stay with you for 3 to 5 days to ensure a smooth transition. During that time we work with you hands-on, teaching you how to handle your dog, how to give commands, how to read your dog's signals, and how to build the bond that makes the relationship work. By the time we leave, you will feel confident and your dog will be settled.

Lifetime Support

Our relationship does not end at delivery. We offer ongoing support for the life of your dog. For clients local to Arizona, we can visit in person for training refreshers as needed. For clients further afield, we are available via phone, text, and video call for quick questions and guidance. If an in-person visit is necessary for a non-local client, we are glad to travel and simply ask that reasonable travel and accommodation costs are covered. You will never feel on your own.

To match you with the right dog, we need a clear picture of your life. During the consultation, expect questions covering:

•  Your household: who lives at home, ages of any children, other pets

•  Your lifestyle: how active you are, whether you travel frequently, urban or rural setting

•  Your security situation: any specific concerns, threats, or incidents that have prompted your interest

•  Your experience with dogs: prior ownership, comfort level with training commands

•  Your preferences: size, breed, energy level

None of these questions are designed to qualify or disqualify you. They exist purely to serve you better.
