Delivery, Nationwide and Beyond
We personally deliver every dog nationwide and to select international destinations. At Guardian Protection Dogs, we do not hand your dog off to a courier or a third-party transport service. Every delivery is personal. When your dog arrives at your home, so do we. That is not a courtesy, it is a core part of how our program works.
A trained protection dog is only as effective as the bond between the dog and the family. That bond needs to be built properly from the first day, and that requires us to be there.

What Happens When We Arrive
The time we spend with you is the most important part of the handover. Every day has a purpose, and by the end you will handle your dog with confidence and clarity. Here is exactly what to expect.
Arrival, First Impressions, and Environmental Acclimation
The process begins with the introduction. We arrive with your dog and focus on creating a calm, confident transition into your home and world. Your dog is given time to absorb the new environment, home layout, scents, routines, and people, without pressure or drills. We guide the initial interactions to ensure trust, clarity, and structure are established correctly from the very start. As the day progresses, we also introduce controlled exposure to everyday environments to begin confirming steadiness and composure beyond the home.
Handler Transition: Obedience and Protection
Day two marks the start of structured handler transition sessions. These sessions are designed to transfer control of the dog from us to you. We work through core obedience and introduce protection concepts, explaining how your dog thinks, responds, and communicates. You will actively handle the dog throughout the day, with our team alongside you to guide, correct, and reinforce proper technique.
Scenario Development and Real-World Application
On the final day, we build on the established foundation with more independence and realism. Sessions become scenario-based, reflecting situations you are likely to encounter in daily life. We refine obedience, protection, and environmental responsiveness while addressing any questions or gaps that surfaced earlier. The process concludes with a full debrief and confidence-building exercises so you leave with a clear understanding of your dog’s capabilities and how to work together moving forward.
Why We Do It This Way
Shipping a trained dog to a stranger and hoping for the best is not a handover, it is a handoff, and the difference matters. The first days in a new home set the tone for everything that follows. By being physically present for those days, we make sure the trust, communication, and command structure built over months of training transfer completely to you, in your home, in your daily routine, with your family. You are never left to figure it out alone.
This is also why delivery is never an afterthought in our pricing or planning conversations. It is a structured part of the program, discussed openly during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect long before delivery day arrives.
